Pakistan : Pakistan’s batting has clicked really well in the warm-up games so far. The difference between now and the recent series in Sri Lanka was the then virtually non-existent middle-order. Misbah-ul-Haq (8/1 at Bet365 to top the Pakistani batting) and Mohammad Yousuf (4/1 at Bet365 to Pakistan’s best batsman) had both been out of form then, and if they could chip in with performances that see them bat through the innings, it should become interesting for the Pakistanis. Despite Sky Bet’s offer of 4/1 for Imran Nazir to top-score for Pakistan, it is evident that Nazir is still finding his feet at the international level after having being away for a couple of years, while Younis Khan (4/1 at Ladbrokes to be the best Pakistani batsman in the game) has had his finger fractured. This makes it difficult to predict, but if I were to stick my neck out, one of Yousuf or Misbah could be the top-scorer for Pakistan if they bat first. If they do not, then, one will need to stick to the top three or four batsmen.

West Indies : West Indies will be over-dependent on a couple of their batsmen to deliver the goods. Devon Smith (4/1 at Stan James to be their best batsman) is one of them, while the other is Darren Sammy, rather surprisingly offered 12/1 by Sky Bet to top the West Indian batting.
